Equipping and installation of the classified registry offices

Classified documents office is basic security component of organization, company or corporation performing tasks related to processing of classified or confidential information. This office must meet all specific requirements for system to operate correctly.

The office is separate organizational unit reporting to classified information protection manager, operated by security officers with appropriate certificates. This unit is responsible for recording, storage, expedition and circulation of documents. The office must be located in separate room, protected according to the physical means regulations.

Art.56 of the bill from August 5, 2010 on protection of confidential information (Dz.U. z 2010, Nr 182, poz. 1228); requires use of physical protection means in order to prevent unauthorized access to classified information

Following systems must be installed in the office:

  • Intruder & burglary alarm system with passive infrared motion detectors, magnetic detectors for detection of intrusion through doors and windows and seismic detectors for detection of intrusion through walls or ceilings.
  • Surveillance TV system with image recording for protection of office entry door only.
  • Fire alarm system.
  • Two-way access control system.
  • Hold up alarm buttons.

Systems installed have to meet requirements as specified in PN-EN 50133-1 for Grade 2 protection.
